Overview

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for achieving the on-time shipping and other service goals for customer orders at all ProDriven Global Brands locations within assigned customer(s), trade channel(s), and location(s).

 

Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 1 day a month in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs.  The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

  • Point of contact for outbound planning.  Key liaison between 3rd party transportation, warehouses, and customer care.
  • Sales order “owner” for ProDriven Brands within customer(s), trade channel(s), and location(s) assignment.
  • Utilize the necessary portals to acquire routing for collect and 3rd party customers, including but not limited to Home Depot, Lowe’s, Grainger, and Tractor Supply.
  • Troubleshoot transaction errors between ProDriven Brands and Redwood (3rd party transportation provider) and correct as needed, or request order admin corrections on pricing, etc. to process properly.
  • Cubing full truckloads with full bundle quantities for customers utilizing max load program, excel, or other tools.
  • Measure and drive ProDriven Brands’ inventories and customer order fulfillment performance including but not limited to service level (on-time and fill rate, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs).  Coordinates with IT, Customer Care, Production Planning, Supply Planners, Warehouses, and Customers as needed.
  • Use ProDriven Brands’ Systems (JDE E1 and BI) to review related information for inventory and orders at ProDriven Brands’ Distribution Centers. 
  • Coordinate order and item updates for assigned customers, utilizing DRP in JD Edwards and supply planning.
  • Plan collect / 3rd party shipments for assigned customers in JD Edwards to generate shipping dispatch sheets for the warehouses.
  • Update various customer excel trackers in Microsoft teams and provide data to the sales teams and other internal customers when required.
  • Utilize and create BI tools to gain efficiencies and audits to improve the inventory journey for our customers.
  • Participates in various project teams as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Experience & Education:

  • One to three years minimum of supply chain focused experience in distribution planning, inventory control, transportation environment or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience in distribution planning, inventory control, or data analysis.

 

Key Competencies:

  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and Word. Knowledge of JD Edwards or SAP a plus. 
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Quick response times to instant messages and emails utilizing our operating system and knowledge of this system for timely and accurate responses.
  • Must have demonstrated indirect leadership abilities and be able to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Preferred background in a consumer durable product line with experience servicing a multi-channel environment, specifically with bulky and difficult to handle product.
