Associate Data Integration Specialist

Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 1 day a month in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs.  The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs.

ProDriven Global Brands is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Data Integration Specialist who is eager to learn and grow while supporting data integration and automation efforts. This role will assist in gathering requirements, maintaining existing pipelines, and learning best practices under the guidance of senior engineers. The ideal candidate will be curious, detail-oriented, and willing to develop technical skills in data integration and analytics. This position also involves exploring opportunities to learn how data insights and emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance business processes.

Business Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and application owners, to understand integration requirements.
• Assist in documenting technical specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.

Solution Design and Development:

• Complete development tasks based on specifications provided by senior engineers, while learning how to handle gaps and ask clarifying questions.
• Support the building and monitoring of ETL/ELT pipelines in Matillion and Snowflake, based on specifications from senior engineers.
• Assist in maintaining and testing integration workflows, with opportunities to learn platforms such as Jitterbit.
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers and administrators to support integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Support monitoring of data replication and CDC processes, with opportunities to learn tools like HVR.
• Assist in testing and validating integration solutions to help ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Learn and apply coding best practices by participating in code reviews with senior engineers.
• Assist in creating and updating integration documentation, such as data dictionaries, pipeline flowcharts, and related reference materials, to support team knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor existing pipelines and raise issues or potential improvements to senior engineers.
• Stay engaged in learning about integration technologies, data management practices, and automation, applying new knowledge with guidance from senior engineers.
• Support efforts to evaluate new tools, including AI/ML, to enhance our data integration capabilities and drive data-driven insights.
• Assist in assessing emerging technologies that can enhance data integration, automation, or AI-driven insights in alignment with evolving business needs and industry best practices.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred or equivalent work experience required
• Relevant certifications in integration or cloud technologies are a plus.

Years of Experience and Knowledge

• 0–3 years of experience in data integration or related field, with exposure to building or supporting data pipelines through coursework, internships, or entry-level roles.
• Familiarity with data platforms and tools such as Snowflake, SQL, or Python; exposure to ETL and integration tools (e.g., Matillion, Fivetran, Jitterbit, HVR) is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Basic understanding of data integration and warehousing concepts, with interest in learning API design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interest in developing analytical and problem-solving skills to support business needs.
• Interest in exploring how AI/ML may be applied in data integration and automation.
• Exposure to Agile or other project management methodologies, through coursework, internships, or project work; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. 
• General awareness of Azure or other cloud platforms; familiarity with DevOps concepts is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to other integration tools and technologies (e.g., MuleSoft) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts; awareness of CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps is helpful.
• Exposure to low-code tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and visualization is a plus.
